Reliance Jio has announced that 27 February will stop the service of Geo Money Wallets. In this regard, Geo has given information to the customers via SMS. The company has said that from February 27, the process of transfer of rupee from banks to banks will be stopped.
Recently, the RBI issued a cartel carrying mobile walts, in which the mobile wallet provider was ordered to update the customer’s KYC. Now Geo announced the closure of the Geo Money facility, which is in charge of the guides.
Reliance Jio has refused to provide information on RBI guidelines. However, he has said that the geo payment bank will be started with the necessary licenses for any necessary directional directions related to the transfer of money.
However, the company did not say when the GEO payment service would start. But clarification has said that once the payment is initiated after getting a license then there will be no problem in transferring money from the bank.
Apart from this, Geo has alerted the customers that the customer should transfer his rupee to the bank in Geo Volatile till February 26, after which he will not face any harassment later. Later the transfer fee will have to pay some fees. That is why before you date 26, the geo wallet will transfer money to your bank. The transfer will have to do only once.
It is worth mentioning that according to the RBI’s order, Wallet Accounts like PayTm, Airtel Money, Freecharge, MobiKwik, Ola Money are also closed.
