Deactivate 11.44 lakh PANs, will know, whether your card is active or not?
More than 11.44 lakh PAN cards have been closed or disposed of in the country. This has been done with people who have one-on-one pagecard. This information was given by the Minister of State for Finance Santosh Kumar on Tuesday.
The PAN card issuance rule is that one person has only one PAN card. It has also been said that fast tracked PAN card can be linked to Aadar, otherwise the PAN card can be closed.

Learn how PANCARD is active or not
1 – Click on the Income Tax website. The KNOW YOUR PAN option will appear on the site. Click on it. No need to logging on this website. You can also go direct from incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/Services/KnowYourPanLinkGS.html. After clicking on it, a new window will open.
2 – Your full name will be filled as shown in the form. This name should be according to the information shown on the PAN card. You can leave this column blank if you do not write a middle name. Type the date given in the panecard. Click on submit the mobile number and submit it.
3 – Now the code number will come on your mobile. Type the code in the option given in the new window, and then click Validate.
4 – By doing so, the user will know what their PAN card status is.
