GNFC plans to engage Apprentices under proposed “Mukhya Mantri Apprentice Scheme” of Govt. of Gujarat. Under this, the apprentice will be given total emoluments of Rs. 8,000/- per month for a period of 1 year. This would include contribution from the Central Govt. and the State Govt. It may please be noted that stipend under the apprentice scheme is around Rs. 6,000 per month. However, as a special dispensation to encourage large scale engagement of Apprentices, GNFC has taken a decision to pay additional Rs. 2,000/- per month, making monthly stipend to Rs.8,000/-.
